{Event} Elderflower Fields Festival

We went along to Elderflower Fields Festival for the first time on Saturday and we cannot wait to go back next year, we're even planning to camp!  I'm sharing a few favourite photos I took of the event here but will be writing a more detailed review over on my personal blog, Olive Dragonfly if you're interested in reading more about what we got up to and all of the amazing things going on at the festival.  I would definitely recommend it for families of all ages.  I've never seen Kalyan so happy for so long, he was buzzing!

We had a fun-packed day exploring followed by a relaxed hazy evening chilling by the dragonfly stage.

Bedtime Shenannigans

I already shared one fun evening when Kalyan took his obsession with lotion to new levels with a massage for Priya before bed but we had another fun evening recently (despite Priya's distressed but face when she suddenly wanted to get out of the bath) with lots of giggling and joy and running back & forth and shaking of towels with the golden hour light streaming in from the bathroom window.

I've been experimenting with a few presets in Lightroom too so some of these are a slightly different style to the others but I love them all.

Bubbles and Sun Flares

We had a lot of fun with bubbles in the garden recently after a lovely time picnicking with our toddler and Mummy friends earlier in the day.  The twins absolutely love bubbles but have only recently been successful at blowing them themselves.  And I've only recently been successful at capturing sun flares and I'm loving them!

Sibling Massage

Last night K and P were being particularly cute.  Kalyan is obsessed with lotion and often asks for some before bed.  Last night he suddenly decided to apply some to his sister too so she lay down and he ended up rubbing her back with lots of E45.  Of course I grabbed my camera and managed to get a few decent shots of their super cute behaviour.  Priya was loving it and of course there was tickling too!

I made them all black & white as the white balance was a bit funny as K insisted having the light on but we had the light from 3 windows too.

Kalyan had a turn too but was apparently too ticklish!
